🎨 File Types — What Our Press Needs

✓ Ready to print — no art charge: Legitimate true vector files — a .svg or a genuine vector .pdf, built from CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator. Please make all text in CorelDraw or Illustrator “convert to curves,” so I do not need the font-type used.

Everything else → Vectorization service: Any raster or non-vector format — .jpg, .png, .psd, .tiff, a screenshot, or even a clear file of your design — is welcome. Our design department redraws it into a clean, print-ready vector. See Vectorization under Design Services; the artwork charge is always confirmed with you before your artwork is started.

📏 Print Sizes

Standard Print Areas: Front chest: up to 9"(tall) x 10.5"(wide) • Left chest: 3.5" x 3.5" • Upper yoke: 2" x 2"–3" • Full back: up to 10.5" x 10.5"

Youth garments: prints fit a smaller area — up to 6" x 7.5" on both front and back. A youth run may require an additional screen (with an accompanying charge); we'll confirm any added cost before your order is finalized.

🧵 Embroidery Artwork — What We Need

Embroidery works differently from screen printing. Our machines don't read artwork files or logos — they read a digitized stitch file that maps out the stitch path, direction, density, and thread-color sequence.

✓ Ready to stitch — no digitizing charge: An already-digitized machine file — .dst or .emb. If you already own one from a previous embroiderer, we can run it directly (we'll do a quick check to confirm it stitches cleanly on our machines).

Everything else → One-time digitizing: A logo, a vector file, or even a flat raster file must be digitized before it can run. This is a one-time setup per design, and once it's done the file is yours to reuse on every future order. See Embroidery Digitizing under Design Services for pricing.

✅ Pre-Submission Checklist

• Send a vector file if you can (.svg or a true vector .pdf) — these print with no art charge.
• No vector file? Send whatever you have and we'll give you a price to redraw it.
• Tell us your colors — Pantone (PMS) numbers help us match them.
• For embroidery, include a .dst or .emb file if you have one.
• Keep your files under 50 MB total.
• Only send artwork you have the right to use.

All design work — text layouts, vectorization, logo creation, embroidery digitizing, and revisions — is priced per design at the hourly rate of the artist doing the work. We'll give you a time estimate before starting, so there are no surprises. And once your artwork is created it's yours to reuse: reorders of the same logo carry no new art or digitizing charge.

Text Layout

Names, slogans, team text. Typically under 1 hour.

Vectorization

Convert any raster or non-vector file into a print-ready vector file. Typically 1–2 hours.

Custom Design

Logos, graphics from a concept or reference. Typically 2–4 hours.

Complex / Multi-Element

Photographic, detailed, or multi-part designs. Typically 4+ hours.

🧵 Embroidery — Digitizing & Stitching

Embroidery requires a special "digitized" file (.dst, .emb) that tells the machine the stitch path, density, and sequence.

Digitizing — $50 per design (one "tape"/digitized file), a one-time cost. Complex designs or additional artwork may cost more — we'll confirm before starting. Once digitized, your design is reused free on future orders.

Stitching — $1.00 per 1,000 stitches, per embroidered location, per garment, rounded up to the next 500 stitches. A left-chest logo of about 6,000 stitches runs $6.00 a garment; a hat with a 6,000-stitch front and a 3,000-stitch back is $9.00. Your digitized file gives the exact count, and we confirm it before the run.

💰 Screen Setup Fees

Each color in a screen print design requires its own screen. Setup fees are one-time per design; reordering the same design later is charged a reduced repeat-screen fee.

Screen fee: $20 per screen (per color)
Repeat screen (reorder, same design): $10 per screen
Pantone color matching: $10 per color
Ink change fee: $15 (switching ink mid-run)
